Jemur Island' has beautiful natural scenery, in addition to the '
Jemur Island' which very rich in marine products, in this island there are lots of sea turtles. the turtles is up to the beach and lay eggs, the turtle lay her eggs on the bottom layer of sand beach, this endangered species can lay 100 to 150 grains of each tail.
To increase the number of green Sea Turtle populations, the government of Rokan Hilir held the turtle breeding to prevent extinction of this endangered species.

Jemur Island' is located approximately 45 miles from the capital of Rokan Hilir, Bagansiapiapi and 45mil from neighboring countries namely Malaysia, while the
North Sumatra province that is closest to the '
Jemur Island'. In addition to the '
Jemur Island' there are several other tourism potential, including the Japanese Cave, Beacon Tower, a former human footprints, spring bones, the remains of Japan's defense, rock Screen Commander, Marine Park and golden sandy beaches.
How to get there?
There is no regular transportation to the island. However, one can rent a speedboat from Bagansiapiapi (takes about 1.5–2 hours) or Panipahan (takes about 1 hour).
